Also, es tut mir echt leid, ich finde es auch nicht gut, echten Pelz zu tragen und ich finde es gut, dass es Organisationen gibt, die sich dagegen einsetzen, aber das, was Peta macht, ist doch langsam wirklich nur noch bescheuert. Was soll denn das? Denken die, dass jetzt weniger Leute Pelz tragen, bloß weil die so was veranstalten?? Ich finde das einfach beleidigend, das erfüllt ja noch nicht mal einen Zweck, das ist doch reine Schikane... Und soll den Tieren damit vielleicht geholfen sein?!

Mary-Kate spielt in einem neuen Kinofilm mit, der ab 8.Juni in NY gedreht wird "Meskada" heißt er und es spielen neben ihr auch Kellan Lutz von Twilight, Cynthia Nixon von Sex & The City und Penn Badgley von Gossip Girl mit:
Mary-Kate Olsen to Star in New Film
Today, it was announced that the indie film Meskada will begin production on June 8th in Catskill, New York. Listed among the cast members? Our very own Mary-Kate Olsen!
Meskada follows Noah Cordin, a small town detective, who is attempting to solve a juvenile homicide that happened during a home burglary. The town rallies around the family of the deceased, but as the investigation reveals more and more truths about the town and it’s inhabitants, it becomes unclear as to who the victims are.
Also on the cast list are Penn Badgley of Gossip Girl; Kellan Lutz, who plays Emmett Cullen in the Twilight movies; Vincent D’Onofrio from Law & Order: Criminal Intent; and Cynthia Nixon of Sex and the City.. The film is being backed by Aliquot Films, it will be the company’s second project. Their first was the acclaimed film Knucklehead.
Josh Sternfeld wrote and will direct the film. Josh is a relatively unknown writer and director, with his best known work being 2004’s Winter Solstice.
It sounds like an exciting and interesting project with a hip and stellar cast. I have no idea what sort of role MK has in the project, but I’m hoping more details are leaked soon!
They’re still looking for extras, if you’re in the New York area and ever wanted to be in a film with MK! They can’t pay you, but it would be an awesome experience!
MESKADA is an independent feature film written and directed by Josh Sternfeld.
MESKADA tells the story of small-town detective, Noah Cordin, as he attempts to solve a juvenile homicide that occurred during a home burglary in his affluent town of Hilliard. The dead boy’s mother, Allison Connor, is a member of the Meskada County Board of Commissioners, and a powerful woman in Hilliard; and the entire township rallies together in solidarity - to support her and Detective Cordin’s efforts to find the killers. Throughout it all, Noah’s loyalties are torn between his past and his present…until the Connor murder investigation comes to a shocking climax.
MESKADA follows KNUCKLEHEAD as the second feature production for Aliquot Films, an NYC independent film fund and production company founded by Jay Kubassek.
MESKADA will be shooting in Catskill, NY and the surrounding area during the month of June.
